Beast Mighty 850 Blender Review: My New Kitchen Go-To

I’m a regular smoothie drinker, and for the past 10-ish years, I’ve relied on one old tried-and-true personal blender to get the job done. It never steered me wrong, but recently the motor started slowing down, the blade was getting worn out, and I felt like my smoothies weren’t blending well enough. So, when Beast offered to send me the newest addition to its line of personal blenders, I leaped at the opportunity to try it. I ditched my beloved blender, replaced it with the Beast Mighty 850, and haven’t looked back since.

The Beast Mighty 850 isn’t your average kitchen gadget; its sleek and compact design combined with impressive blending capabilities has made it a go-to appliance in my kitchen. So far I’ve made smoothies, quick soups, and even sauces in it, but thanks to its versatile uses, I’ve also replaced a few more kitchen gadgets with it as well.

I can’t speak highly enough of the blender’s design. The motor—as well as its accessories like lids, straws, and the cup’s non-slip bottom—feature a smooth, buttery-matte texture that feels as good as it looks. It’s also available in a variety of unique colors, including carbon black, cloud white, mist, sand, terra, and lilac. As a lover of pastels, I opted for the lilac, and it is beautiful.

Unlike most personal blenders (my old one included) that have a more utilitarian look to them, the Beast Mighty 850 cups are designed with ribbed detailing. Not only do they stand out in my cupboards and countertop, but that also helps give every blend a smoother, silkier consistency.

The blender is equipped with an 850-watt motor and stainless steel multi-blade that powerfully handles fruits, veggies, coffee beans, herbs, and more with ease. While smoothies are what I make most often, I’ve used this to grind whole coffee beans, chop onions, carrots, and tomatoes, and even blend one-pot soups in it for an easy meal. And, thanks to the generous 26.5-ounce, 21.6-ounce, and 14-ounce cup sizes, I was able to replace my trusted coffee grinder, food chopper, and immersion blender.

I also love that the blender is so easy to use. Simply plug it in and either hold and release the front power button for a timed blending cycle, or pulse it to blend, puree, or chop food. It also comes with nifty accessories—namely the drinking lid, straw cap, and two straws, which I use when I want to bring something with me to the gym, grocery store, or on a walk.

The Beast Mighty 850 is hands-down the best upgrade that’s ever happened to my kitchen. The gorgeous design, unique construction, versatile uses, and handy accessories made me ditch my old blender for good and replace a few of my other tried-and-true kitchen gadgets, too.
