Billy Joel‘s wife Alexis is speaking out following his recent diagnosis.

Last week, the 76-year-old “Piano Man” singer announced that he is cancelling all of his scheduled tour dates after he was diagnosed with the brain disorder normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH).

In a post shared to Billy‘s Instagram, Alexis, 43, released a statement thanking fans for all the support.

Keep reading to find out more…“Thank you for the outpouring of love and support. We are so grateful for the wonderful care and swift diagnosis we received,” Alexis wrote along with a family photo with their two young daughters Della, 9, and Remy, 7.

“Bill is beloved by so many, and to us, he is a father and husband who is at the center of our world,” she continued. “We are hopeful for his recovery. We look forward to seeing you all in the future.”

Billy‘s ex-wife Christie Brinkley also shared a message reacting to his diagnosis.
