Blake Lively Vows 'To Stand For Every Woman's Right' In First Statement After Defeating Justin Baldoni Lawsuit!

Blake Lively has scored the most decisive win yet in her legal battle with Justin Baldoni. And now it’s time for her victory lap.

The It Ends With Us director’s staggering $400 million defamation suit against Blake, her hubby Ryan Reynolds, and the New York Times has been dismissed. The judge ruled Blake’s sexual harassment allegations, because they were part of a lawsuit, were legally immune from defamation claims. Instead of gloating, Blake is taking the high road.

Last week she partnered with over a dozen organizations to talk about “women’s rights to speak up for their safety.” She’s leaning hard into attacking Justin as an abuser who only pretended to care about listening to and believing women. And that’s still what she wants to discuss after her legal win.

Taking to Instagram Stories for her first statement, the Another Simple Favor star referred to her work with those groups as an ongoing battle for all women:

“Like so many others, I’ve felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us. While the suit against me was defeated, so many don’t have the resources to fight back.”

She’s right about that. Plenty of people are never able to stand up to their opposition in court, especially if they have all the money and power.

Blake continued by saying she would now be a champion for other women, and not just for herself:

“I’m more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman’s right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story.”

Blake tagged several orgs in her post, including Her Justice, the California Women’s Law Center, the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women, the National Network to End Domestic Violence, the National Organization for Women, the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault, and Women’s Equal Justice.

She also thanked those who remained in her corner despite all the stories and allegations that came out about what she may have done behind the scenes:

“With love and gratitude for the many who stood by me, many of you I know. Many of you I don’t. But I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you.”

We’re not sure we know who many of those people are as most of Blake’s inner circle seem to have abandoned her over the alleged Taylor Swift extortion scheme. But clearly she still has some dragons in her corner.
