Will Friedle is sharing some exciting family news!

During the Monday (May 19) episode of his podcast Pod Meets World, the 48-year-old actor, best known for playing Eric Matthews on Boy Meets World, announced that his stepdaughter Lexi is about to have her first child.

Keep reading to find out more…While Will doesn’t have any children of his own, he’s stepdad to his wife Susan Marten‘s 35-year-old daughter Lexi.

Lexi was 21 when Will and her mom first started dating. The couple tied the knot in September 2016.

“I’m about to be a grandfather, actually,” Will said during the episode. “Yeah, my stepdaughter’s about to have my first grandchild, so I’m very happy. I’m ’bout to be a poppy!”

His podcast co-host, and former co-star, Danielle Fishel said, “It’s going to be fun, I can’t wait.”

“It’s gonna be great. I can’t either,” Will added.

It was also recently announced that this Boy Meets World star is going to welcome their first child later this year.
