Brittany Snow is heading to Hulu in a new true crime series!

The 39-year-old Pitch Perfect actress has signed on to join the cast of the upcoming untitled limited series about the Murdaugh family murders.

If you are unaware, the Murdaughs were a powerful family in South Carolina and for the past decade, were accused of involvement in a variety of crimes, ranging from drugs to fraud to murder.

Brittany will play Mandy Matney, “a journalist with a sunny smile and a suspicious view of the world. When Mandy starts searching for a story with teeth, she stumbles upon the news of a girl missing as a result of a boat crash. Mandy uses her keen instinct to unravel the complicated layers of the Murdaugh family and ensure that the guilty party is brought to justice.”

The upcoming series also stars Jason Clarke as Alex Murdaugh, Patricia Arquette as Maggie Murdaugh, J. Smith-Cameron as Marian Proctor, Johnny Berchtold as Paul Murdaugh, and Will Harrison as Buster Murdaugh.

Back in March 2023, Alex Murdaugh was found guilty of murdering his wife Maggie and their son Paul. He received two life sentences for his crimes.
