Citizens Bank Launches Portfolio of New Credit Cards

Citizens Bank is refreshing its credit card portfolio with five new personal credit cards, ranging from a credit builder option to a premium travel card. The new cards will effectively replace Citizens Bank’s older suite of cards, which are no longer open to applicants starting June 12, 2025.
These cards will likely appeal most to current Citizens Bank members. For example, the annual fee on the travel card can be reduced or completely waived depending on how much money you keep with the bank. And indeed, one of the cards is available only to the issuer’s Private Bank members. For everyone else, though, the new Citizens Bank credit cards probably won’t be the first option, as branches are located in just 14 states and D.C. (as of this writing).
