Clipse Announce New Album ‘Let God Sort Em Out,’ Produced by Pharrell

Clipse, the rap duo consisting of Pusha T and Malice, are plotting their grand return with the announcement of their new album “Let God Sort Em Out,” releasing on July 11.
The pair’s highly anticipated project will be produced by longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams, with album art and design by Kaws. It will be marketed and distributed in partnership with Roc Nation, and its first single “Ace Trumpets” is slated for release at midnight ET tonight.
Clipse has worked with Williams and the Neptunes since the start of their career, beginning with 1999’s “Exclusive Audio Footage.” They collaborated with the super producer across their subsequent albums “Lord Willin’,” “Hell Hath No Fury” and “Til the Casket Drops.”
Since the latter album, Pusha T and Malice embarked on separate solo paths. Pusha dropped four studio albums, most recently with 2022’s “It’s Almost Dry,” while Malice released a pair of albums including 2013’s “Hear Ye Him” and “Let the Dead Bury the Dead.”
Although they haven’t released an album since 2009, the brothers Thornton teamed up for a handful of guest appearances, including spot turns on tracks like Kanye West’s “Use This Gospel.” They’ve performed together at several festivals like Primavera Sound Barcelona, Something in the Water and Camp Flog Gnaw.
During an interview with Rolling Stone about the album, they said that this album is just the beginning of what’s to come for Clipse. “Pharrell says, ‘We gonna keep going!’” said Pusha. “Pharrell calls with that energy every morning, bro. ‘I was listening to the album in the truck last night. I’m going to try some new shit tomorrow.’ I’m like, ‘Come on, bro. Get the mix done with this one.’”
