Colin Firth is reportedly eying a role in Steven Spielberg‘s next big movie.

The 63-year-old Kingsman actor is said to be in talks to sign on for the project, which does not yet have a title but is expected to premiere in theaters on May 15, 2026.

Deadline reported the news, noting that Colin would be joining Emily Blunt on the cast list.

After her Oscars campaign for Oppenheimer, it was revealed that the actress had been in talks to join the movie back in June.

Little is known about Steven‘s new project. However, it is coming from Amblin Entertainment and Universal with a script by David Koepp.

Just a few weeks ago, it was confirmed that Colin had joined the cast of a new Prime Video series called Young Sherlock.

However, he has seemingly not returned for a new movie in one of his most famous franchises.
