Cooper Koch is getting support on his Emmy nomination from someone special!
The 29-year-old actor was nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his portrayal of Erik Menendez in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
Now, Cooper is sharing that he was congratulated on the nomination by someone special.

Cooper spoke with The Awardist podcast about his nomination. During the podcast episode, he shared that Lyle Menendez called him to congratulate him on the achievement.
“I spoke Lyle today. He called to send his congrats and was very, very sweet,” Cooper revealed on the podcast. “He was jealous that I was at Wimbledon this weekend.”
On the podcast episode, Cooper reflected on his time portraying Lyle‘s brother in the series and said, “This is sort of like the end of an era with it, and what a great way to put it to bed. Hopefully that will also go with the brothers getting released by the end of the summer.”
If you didn’t know, Cooper recently spoke about Erik and Lyle potentially being released from prison.
