Cops Said No Foul Play In 8-Year-Old’s Death – But The Autopsy Reveals It Was Homicide!

A tragic death case in Georgia just took a turn into true crime…

Back in May, 8-year-old Noah Bush was reported missing. Sadly, his body was found just one day later underwater in a construction pit in Jesup, according to WTOC 11. At the time, cops revealed they were not investigating the death as a homicide as they felt no foul play was involved as he had no injuries, per the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. An initial autopsy was conducted and ruled the young boy’s death a drowning, and cops deemed it an accident.

But his family and TONS of members of the community protested the findings, suggesting something more sinister was at play. And what do you know? Two months later, and the full story of what happened to young Noah is taking shape. And it’s messed up.

Over 50 days after local authorities stressed to the community that no foul play was involved, an autopsy result has changed the ruling of manner of death… Now they say it WAS a homicide! Wayne County law enforcement officials charged two minors, ages 10 and 11, in connection with Noah’s tragic death, according to multiple outlets. WJCL 22 reported on Monday that the 11-year-old was charged with involuntary manslaughter and simple battery — in addition to concealing a death and criminal trespassing, which the 10-year-old was also charged with. And what’s more? The mother of the elder boy, Natalie Hardison, 35, was also arrested! She’s facing charges of providing false statements, probation violation, and mandatory education for children between ages 6 and 16, per the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Holy s**t!

The revelation came after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation got on the case and found that “one of the two juveniles whom were with Noah pushed him into the deep portion of the borrow pit they were wading in,” according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

The Bush family’s attorney Francys Johnson revealed:

“Noah and the two juveniles involved in this got into some argument, and an argument led to them pushing Noah into the water and possibly holding his head underwater.”

So horrible.

As of now, the sheriff’s department are actively investigating and waiting for enhanced video footage, but the children will be tried as juveniles. The local sheriff revealed:

“This prosecution should move quickly and hopefully bring closure for Noah’s family.”

Noah’s mother has since spoken out. Demetrice Bush told ABC 7:

“I’m grateful for the arrests that were made today, but we still have a long road ahead of us because until Noah receives his justice, there will be no peace.”

A GoFundMe set up to help the family with funeral expenses can be visited HERE.

We’re so glad to see the truth come out. But it doesn’t make the situation any less heartbreaking… Rest in peace, Noah.
