If you’ve been stocking up for a summertime picnic, time to check your shelves! Vietti Food Group has recalled its 15-ounce cans of Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans, due to undeclared soy, according to a U.S. Food & Drug Administration release.
That means the product is still safe to eat if you don’t have soy sensitivities—but could put people with a soy allergy at risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they eat the beans.
The safety alert impacts 4,515 cases of baked beans with the Lot Code: Best if Used By Feb 17, 2028 printed on the bottom of the can.
