Details Of FC Barcelona Prodigy Lamine Yamal’s New Contract Revealed

The alleged details of Lamine Yamal’s multimillion dollar salary when he signs a new contract with the club later this year have been revealed by El Chringuito collaborator Jose Alvarez, who cited anonymous sources during an appearance on the hugely popular Spanish soccer program.

Lamine continues to light up the European game, and on Wednesday received the MVP award for his goal and performance in Barca’s final Champions League league phase match against Atalanta.

He left the pitch in Montjuic angry with Hansi Flick after being brought off in injury time, as Barca chased a winner in the 2-2 draw that would have put it in line for a $50 million-plus payday considering it could take place from Liverpool which lost to PSV Eindhoven.

Still the runners-up spot isn’t bad for the Blaugrana, and Lamine is generally more than happy with the club he has been since the age of 7.

In a recent interview with CNN, he showed that he’s prepared to sign a new long-term contract upon turning 18 in July and put Culers’ mind at rest that they’ll be able to enjoy him until at least the turn of the 2030s.

“I don’t know when [the contract will be signed], but I believe it’ll be soon,” Lamine said from Dubai earlier in January.

“In the end, Barca is the club of my life. I hope to renew my contract with them and to be with them as long as possible.”

“I want to play in the Spanish league. I want to play for Barca, and yes, I will renew my contract. I will,” he further vowed.

While Lamine is currently tied down until mid-2026, he will reportedly pen a new deal of at least five years when he turns 18 on July 13.

According to Alvarez, the fresh terms will pay him something between $7.2-8.3 million a term (€7-8 million) and automatically make the Euro 2024 winner the third highest-paid member of Hansi Flick’s first team squad behind only Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong.

Should he continue to progress at breakneck speed, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Lamine become the top dog in terms of his wages when the time comes to pen a third professional contract.
