Welcome back to your daily Wordle guide, oh thou marvelous Wordlers! Today is Thor’s Day, which means we have the answer to the Wordle Wednesday puzzle before we get into the Wordle itself. This was yesterday’s extra puzzle:
Four friends—Owl, Robot, Sneaky Bobby, and Tomcat—are playing a board game that involves rolling a six-sided die and moving that many spaces forward. The game has the following conditions:
- Each player rolls the die once per turn and moves forward exactly that number of spaces.
- There are no extra turns, backward movements, or skipping turns in this game.
- After four rounds, Owl and Robot are tied on the same space.
- Sneaky Bobby is exactly 2 spaces ahead of them.
- Tomcat is exactly 2 spaces behind them.
- The total of all dice rolls at this point is 52.
What spaces does each player occupy?
The Answer: Sneaky Bobby is on Space #15, Owl and Robot are on Space #13 and Tomcat is on Space #11. Well done to all of you who messaged me the answer! P.S. If you have a good riddle or brain-teaser or puzzle you’d like featured in a Wordle Wednesday feel free to DM me those as well!

Wordle Analysis
Every day I check Wordle Bot to help analyze my guessing game. You can check your Wordles with Wordle Bot right here.
Another pretty lucky day, if I’m being honest with myself. I started out strong with TREAD, nabbing two yellow boxes. With just 58 remaining solutions, I guessed GUIDE and moved the ‘E’ to green. I snagged another yellow box, but with six words left my third guess was very lucky, indeed. LODGE for the win!
Competitive Wordle Score

I get 1 point for guessing in three and 0 for tying the Bot. I’ll take a point!

Today’s Wordle Etymology
The word “lodge” comes from Old French “loge”, meaning a small shelter or hut, which itself derives from Frankish or Proto-Germanic roots (laubja), referring to a shelter made from foliage or branches. It entered Middle English as “lodge”, meaning a temporary dwelling or small house, and later expanded to include meanings like a place for meetings (e.g., Masonic lodge) or a place to stay temporarily (e.g., a hunting lodge or hotel).
