Drake Bell Teases Potential ‘Drake & Josh’ Reunion With Josh Peck, Talks What It Would Look Like | Drake Bell, Josh Peck, Nickelodeon, Television | Just Jared: Celebrity News and Gossip

Drake Bell opened up about reuniting with Josh Peck to bring Drake & Josh back to life.

If you forgot, the actors starred in the Nickelodeon series between 2004 and 2007, playing two kids whose lives were merged when their parents got married.

In a recent interview, Drake revealed that he and Josh have “talked about” working together on another project and teased what it would look like.

“I would love to. We’ve talked about it,” Drake told The Patriot-News, via Deadline.

However, he added that he wouldn’t want to simply reboot their original series.

“It’s like, ‘Okay, of course, let’s do a reboot because everyone’s doing reboots.’ If we’re going to do something, it should be more special. Let’s hit ’em with a bang, instead of, ‘oh, another reboot,’” he said.

What would that look like? He had some thoughts: “I don’t think I would do us playing the characters from the show, or having [our sister] Meg [played by Miranda Cosgrove],” he said. “I think, luckily for us, it’s our names, so we can still play Drake and Josh. But I think it’d be funnier if we go on to doing other buddy comedies, you know. Something that is kind of a surprise, a little different. It would be more interesting.”
