Dunkin’ and Kar’s Nuts Team Up on New Trail Mix Blends

There’s a brand-new way for Dunkin’ fans to enjoy the taste of its coffee without ever having to take a sip.

This week, Kar’s Nuts, the popular trail mix brand, announced that it is teaming up with Dunkin’ to create two new trail mix blends inspired by “Dunkin’s most beloved flavors.”

Those flavors include the Kar’s x Dunkin’ Caramel Cold Brew Trail Mix, which the company describes as perfect for “those who like a little coffee with their crunch.” The mix brings together roasted salted peanuts, crunchy butter toffee peanuts, and pink, orange, and white cocoa candies with “Dunkin’-inspired caramel cold brew flavored almonds for a bold, caramel-kissed coffee fix,” it explained, adding, “no barista required.”

Then there’s the Kar’s X Dunkin’ Frosted Donut With Sprinkles Trail Mix, which the company described as a “classic frosted donut, reimagined as the ultimate snack.” It includes the same roasted peanuts and butter toffee peanuts, along with pink, orange, and white cocoa candies, but this time, it’s topped with Dunkin’-inspired frosted donut flavored almonds.

“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Dunkin’ on these two next-level trail mixes,” Jennifer Bauer, the CMO at Second Nature Brands, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “These blends combine Dunkin’s nostalgic, craveable flavors with Kar’s signature sweet and savory crunch. Whether you’re a coffee lover, a donut devotee, or just someone who takes their snacking seriously, these are about to become your new obsession.”

The trail mixes are now available at select retailers across the United States as well as on Amazon and KarsNuts.com.

But hang on, because there’s even more good news for Dunkin’ fans. With every purchase of Kar’s x Dunkin’ trail mixes, you can earn points toward future Dunkin’ purchases through the Dunkin’ At-Home Extras program (which you can sign up for at dunkinextras.com).

This, however, isn’t the only thing Dunkin’ fans can look forward to right now. In early April, the coffee company announced some new additions to its spring menu, including the Arctic Cherry Dunkin’ Energy drink, the Spring Munchkins Bucket, and the Cotton Candy Pastel Doughnut. 

And, of course, Dunkin’s spring menu includes the Dunkalatte, which we’re pretty sure would cause a rebellion if it didn’t make a comeback for the season. It may just pair perfectly with these trail mix snacks.
