Dyson’s Airwrap and Hair Straighteners Are Amazon Prime Day Deals in 2024

Like the brand’s viral hair dryer, the latest version of Dyson’s hair straightener, the Airstrait, was a bit of a marvel when it first came out. The biggest revelation: It doesn’t use hot plates, so you can straighten your hair when it’s wet, making the beauty accessory a true two-in-one tool since it also dries your strands. Unsurprisingly, the Airstrait doesn’t come cheap, retailing for $500. But thanks to Amazon Prime Day, you can get the straightener on sale for $399.

Not every Dyson hair tool is discounted as part of a Prime Day deal—such as the famous Supersonic Hair Dryer—but if you’ve ever considered buying one of these popular products, you better act fast because they rarely go on sale (meaning they’re a definite sellout risk). Dyson Airwrap Exclusive Bundle

Dyson’s version of a curling iron, straightener, and hair dryer in one launched in 2018—and given that it comes with six different styling heads, the Airwrap is the brand’s most expensive hair tool, costing $675 with Amazon’s exclusive bundle. But this Prime Day, you can score it for $550. The kit includes a coanda smoothing dryer head that tackles damp hair, a round volumizing brush head that shapes the hair while it dries, two brush heads (firm smoothing and soft smoothing) for straightening, and two long barrel heads (1.2 inches and 1.6 inches, respectively) for creating curls and waves.

“Not only does the Dyson Airwrap style my hair impeccably, but it also saves me time,” wrote one five-star reviewer. “The powerful airflow dries and styles my hair simultaneously, cutting down on drying time and leaving me with salon-quality results in a fraction of the time.” Another shopper raved, “It protects my hair from heat damage and leaves my hair looking silky and lovely.”

A third customer, who uses all of the attachments regularly, noted that her “curls last all day long” and that a quick blow-dry or straighten takes just 10 minutes with the Airwrap.

Dyson Airstrait Straightener

The Dyson Airstrait is the brand’s first hair straightener without hot plates, using directional airflow to dry and straighten at the same time, saving your strands from excessive heat damage. There are three modes total, and each uses a different combination of airflow and heat: “Wet” is obviously meant for styling damp hair, “dry” is for dry hair, and “cool” is for setting your desired style. The temperatures between these three settings range from 175 degrees to 285 degrees.

Shoppers can’t believe how well it works on wet hair and say styling takes between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on how much hair you have. “It cuts my styling time in half, and I really like the fact that the Airstrait doesn’t damage the way my super-hot hair dryer and flat iron do,” one satisfied shopper, who has “very thick, frizzy, and kind of curly” hair, wrote. “I rarely ever spend this extravagantly, but it was on sale and I’m SO glad I did.”

Dyson Corrale Style Straightener

While the Dyson Corrale does use hot plate technology to straighten, it’s cordless, which you don’t see very often with hair tools. Between uses, the straightener needs to be charged in the included travel dock. There are three heat settings—330, 365, and 410 degrees—that you can toggle between depending on your hair type and styling preferences. You should know that this specific product hasn’t been discounted on Amazon since December, so we highly recommend that you take advantage of the $100-off deal while you can. 

Several shoppers have said that their hair feels softer and healthier since using the Corrale, with one reviewer adding that they even use it to make curls and beach waves. While some customers wish the straightener’s charge lasted longer (it runs for about 30 minutes), many five-star reviewers noted that it can be used while charging.
