East Midlands homes up for auction

A number of homes across the East Midlands are set to attract house hunters and property investors from across the UK to Bond Wolfe’s next auction.

21 Tapton Terrace

A two-bedroomed, mid terraced property at 21 Tapton Terrace in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, has a guide price of £25,000+ in the livestreamed auction on Thursday 11 July, reflecting its need for modernisation.

The house, with gardens front and back, has a ground floor reception room with dining area, a toilet and kitchen with no fittings, while upstairs are the bedrooms and bathroom, plus gas central heating and double glazing.

Over in Leicestershire, a three-bedroomed, semi-detached house at 28 Lower Cambridge Street, Loughborough, has a guide price of £95,000+ and needs refurbishment throughout.

The property has gardens front and back, with a hall, two reception rooms, kitchen and understairs store on the ground floor, bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, plus an outbuilding with toilet at the rear.

6 Antill St

In Nottingham, a three-bedroomed, mid-terraced house at 6 Antill Street, Stapleford is listed at £30,000+.

It has a garden at the rear, and has a reception room, dining kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor, with the bedrooms upstairs, plus gas central heating and double glazing.

Another property in need of refurbishment, but with a highly attractive guide price of £30,000+, is a two bedroomed, semi-detached house at 127 High Street, in Stonebroom, near Alfreton, Derbyshire.

There is a small garden area to the front and a large rear yard with off-road parking.

On the ground floor are two reception rooms, the kitchen and a utility room, with two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, plus double glazing.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “This property requires work but is offered at an extremely low guide price, which is typical of the excellent value buyers can find in our auctions.

127 High St

“This combination of quality and value makes our auctions a regular destination for house hunters, investors and those expanding their buy-to-let portfolios.”

These properties and others across the East Midlands are among 194 lots that are appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction, which will start at 8.30am on Thursday 11 July.
