Elle Fanning has booked her next major project!

The 26-year-old actress is joining the Predator universe by starring in the upcoming standalone movie Badlands.

The Boys director Dan Trachtenberg rebooted the Predator universe with the 2022 movie Prey, which was a massive hit for Hulu.

While Prey was a prequel to the franchise, it’s unclear where Badlands will fall in the universe as plot details are being kept under wraps, according to Deadline. Elle is in negotiations to star and Dan will return to direct the film. He co-wrote the screenplay with Patrick Aison.

Prey premiered on Hulu, but “a theatrical premiere isn’t out of the question” for Badlands.
