Nonetheless, she has nothing but love for Euphoria—which will premiere its third and likely final season in 2026—and Kat, a high school student navigating body image issues and finding empowerment through her fanfiction and a cam-girl alter ego.
“Kat means the world to me,” Barbie shared. “I spent so many years pouring everything into her, but you don’t wanna ruin a good thing. It was a mutual decision. It was absolutely not just me.”
Although it was a difficult resolution, she was ready to say goodbye to Eastland High School for good.
“With acting, things happen all the time and you just have to have thick skin and just make the right decisions for you and your career,” she said. “It was hard. I was really young and it was tough, obviously. There was a lot of discourse about it that wasn’t true.”
