Fallout London Is Heading To VR

Team Folon’s Fallout 4 mod, Fallout London, is one of the most impressive fan-made creations in recent memory. Now, fans of Fallout London have taken it even further with a new mod that brings the game into virtual reality.
Fallout London VR is now available on Nexus mods, and while it wasn’t created by Team Folon, it builds upon that creation and allows PCVR players to experience the mod in a brand-new way. Unfortunately, it’s not playable on Quest VR because Fallout 4 isn’t on that platform. But as noted by Video Gamer, Quest owners who have gaming PCs can use their Quest headsets to play Fallout London VR on Windows.
While the VR mod is free, players will still need an official copy of Fallout 4 and the Fallout London mod. According to Fallout London VR’s page, these are the necessary files to make it work.
- Fallout 4 + DLC (1.10.163 version or older)
- Fallout 4 VR
- Fallout: London
- Mod Organiser 2 (MO2)
- Fallout 4 Script Extender VR 0.6.21 (F4SEVR)
The Fallout London VR mod still has some bugs that need to be worked out, but the team has asked players to install the VR FPS stabilizer mod to mitigate some of those issues.
Late last year, Team Folon revealed its ambitious plans for a massive Fallout London DLC while also transitioning the studio into an indie developer with its own IP in the works. When it debuted in 2024, Fallout London was downloaded 500,000 times via the GOG store. Fallout London also has its own page where fans can keep up with its latest developments.
In more official Fallout-related news, Fallout ’76 Season 21 is slated to launch on June 3. Interplay co-founder Rebecca Heineman also revealed that the source code for Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 haven’t been lost after all.
