Full details of the deal between the Suns, Rockets

The Phoenix Suns have reportedly agreed to trade Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for a package of players and draft picks, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.
Houston acquired Durant from Phoenix for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 NBA draft and five second-round picks. They are receiving the No. 59 pick this year, two in 2026, one in 2030 (from Boston) and one in 2032.
The deal is expected to be completed when the new league year begins on July 6.
Durant reportedly listed the Rockets as one of his three preferred destinations, along with the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs. The Suns were motivated to complete the trade before the draft to prepare for an additional first-round selection.
The acquisition of Durant is expected to vault the Rockets into championship contention in the Western Conference after exiting in the first round this year. Durant averaged 26.6 points, six rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.2 blocks on 43% shooting from 3-point range in 62 games.
After adding the 10th pick, the Suns also hold picks Nos. 29 and 52. They have hosted predraft workouts with several potential targets, including Johni Broome (Auburn), Cedric Coward (Washington State), Chaz Lanier (Tennessee), Nolan Traoré (France) and Danny Wolf (Michigan).
The 2025 NBA draft will feature a two-night format for the second consecutive year, with the first round scheduled for Wednesday and the second round for Thursday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
