FX Orders Drama Pilot From Peter Gould, Victoria Pedretti, Kiera Allen

FX has ordered a drama pilot from Peter Gould with Victoria Pedretti and Kiera Allen set for the lead roles.

Titled “Disinherited,” the official logline states, “An unexpected inheritance thrusts a pair of scrappy sisters into a world of generational wealth and long-buried crimes.”

Gould will also direct and executive produce the pilot in addition to writing. Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, and Nena Rodrigue of T-Street also executive produce. FX Productions is the studio.

FX’s other recent pilot orders include the “Snowfall” spinoff starring Gail Bean and Isaiah John, as well as the drama “Seven Sisters” starring Elizabeth Olsen and Cristin Milioti.

Gould was previously the co-creator and showrunner on the hit AMC series “Better Call Saul.” Gould also directed multiple episodes of that series, including the series finale. He was also a writer and producer on “Breaking Bad,” to which “Better Call Saul” was a prequel. His other credits include writing the HBO movie “Too Big to Fail.”

He is repped by CAA.

Pedretti broke out with her role in Mike Flanagan’s Netflix series “The Haunting of Hill House” as well as for playing Love Quinn in the hit Netflix series “You.” She would re-team with Flanagan on “The Haunting of Bly Manor.” She has also starred in films like “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” “Origin,” and “Ponyboi.”

She is reppedby by CAA, Entertainment 360, 2PM SHARP, and Sloan Offer.

Allen is best known for her work opposite Sarah Paulson in Hulu’s psychological thriller film “Run.” She will next be seen in Jonathan Sobol’s “Littlemouth” opposite Dennis Quaid and Josh Hutcherson.

She is repped by Paradigm, Entertainment 360 and Peikoff/Mahan.
