Get All Five Stormlight Archive Novels In Hardcover For A Fantastic Price

Now’s a great time to explore Brandon Sanderson’s sprawling universe known as the Cosmere, as all five Stormlight Archive novels are featured in Amazon’s Buy Two, Get One Free Book Sale. That includes Wind and Truth, the best-selling conclusion of the first arc in the series. Stormlight box sets as well as Mistborn collections–Sanderson’s other popular series set in the Cosmere–are also featured in Amazon’s Big Spring Sale.
Since Wind and Truth is only available in hardcover at the moment, you may be interested in a matching set of the first four novels. All five hardcovers are steeply discounted and eligible for the B2G1 promotion. That said, you can actually get a better deal by opting for The Stormlight Archive Hardcover Box Set. This four-book set is on sale for $70.50 (was $160). It’s not eligible for B2G1, but it’s still the cheaper option if you need all of the books. In total, you’ll spend $95 to get the set and Wind and Truth–a tremendous deal for hardcover novels of this size.
The Stormlight Archive is also available in trade and mass market paperbacks, and these editions are also on sale. We’ve outlined your Stormlight Archive reading options below. If you’re interested in Sanderson’s Mistborn Saga, you’ll be happy to learn that box sets of Mistborn’s first trilogy and the follow-up Wax and Wayne trilogy are steeply discounted and B2G1 free. And if you haven’t read Sanderson’s Secret Projects, hardcover editions of all three of the books that take place in the Cosmere are B2G1 free, too.

Wind and Truth brings the first arc of The Stormlight Archive to a close. All four of the novels in the high fantasy series have eclipsed 1,000 pages in hardcover format, but Wind and Truth is the biggest yet at 1,344 pages–over 100 pages longer than any of the others. Amazon has named it one of the best science fiction and fantasy books of 2024.
The Stormlight Archive is one of Sanderson’s two big series set in the sprawling fictional universe known as the Cosmere. If the release of Wind and Truth has reminded you that you’ve been meaning to dive in, we’ve outlined the best deals on The Stormlight Archive and the Mistborn Saga below.

As mentioned, if you want all five mainline books to match, Amazon has a stellar deal on The Stormlight Archives Hardcover Box Set that drops the price to only $70.50 (was $160). This is nearly $50 less than it was going for earlier this year.
The box set comes with the first four novels: The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, Oathbringer, and Rhythm of War. All four of these hardcovers are also eligible for Amazon’s B2G1 Free Book Sale, so if you only need a couple of volumes, you can still
To complete your Stormlight Archive set, you’ll want to get Edgedancer and Dawnshard, both of which are on sale for cheap. Books 1-4 of The Stormlight Archive are also available in trade paperback and mass market paperback (smaller books). The trade paperback editions mirror the hardcovers in terms of page count and font size. For books this long, hardcovers are definitely nice to have, but if you want to save some cash, the trade paperbacks are the next best option in terms of readability in physical format.
All four trade paperbacks are featured in Amazon’s B2G1 Free Sale.

The mass market paperbacks are the “pocket-sized” editions. Of course, these aren’t actually pocketable due to the length of each book. Unlike some big novels, The Stormlight Archive’s mass market paperbacks don’t have extremely tiny type. The words are smaller, but the mass market paperbacks are a lot nicer than you’d expect from 1,000-plus page novels. Because of this, the page counts of each book are substantially higher. The Way of Kings, for example, is 1,280 pages instead of its original 1,008 pages.
Here are the listings for each individual mass market paperback, but if you want all four, you should buy The Stormlight Archive’s 3-Book Paperback Box Set for $24 and Book 4 separately for $9. Books 1 and 3 are eligible for B2G1 free. The box set is also included in Amazon’s promotion.

Recap: The Stormlight Archive: Hardcovers, Paperbacks, & Box Sets:
The Mistborn Saga

If you’re new to Sanderson in general, you can read either of his two major series set in the Cosmere first. The Stormlight Archive is a high fantasy series with a larger cast, grander scope, and many interconnected narratives. It’s the more ambitious and denser of the two series. The Mistborn Saga’s original trilogy released before The Stormlight Archive debuted in 2010. Mistborn skews more toward urban fantasy and features more grounded stories with smaller casts and fewer threads to keep track of. Depending on your interests, Mistborn might be a better way to introduce yourself to Sanderson’s work. The Mistborn Saga is up to seven novels.
That said, if your main fantasy interests are series like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and The Wheel of Time, we’d recommend diving straight into The Stormlight Archive.
If you want to read all seven books, the first and second trilogies are compiled across two box sets and are B2G1 free. For the first trilogy, you can choose between trade and mass market paperback, while the second trilogy, Wax and Wayne, is only available in trade paperback. You’ll need to grab The Lost Metal (Book 7) separately. The hardcover, trade paperback, and mass market paperback editions are included in Amazon’s B2G1 promotion.
