How do I respond?

Attending to an emergency equals taking advantage of boss’s “goodwill.” I left about 45 minutes early. I have PTO and the ability to work from home and usually work late. My husband says to let it go but I am furious! I am so sick of this condescending crap. As a parent I’ve had to put up with this crap for years – nasty emails every time my kid got sick or I had to go to the school. This myth of work/life balance is infuriating and must have been coined by someone without children.
