Music fans can thank Eurovision for launching the careers of ABBA, Celine Dion, Olivia Newton-John and Måneskin. The 68th annual European song contest kicks off May 7, but you don’t need to be on the continent to watch the world’s next music star.

Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden, and those in the U.S. can stream the music competition exclusively on Peacock or watch it live on cable on BBC. Hosted by actress Malin Åkerman and comedian and dancer Petra Mede, the event will feature performances by artists from 37 countries.

The 2024 Eurovision Song Contest’s semifinals will air on May 7 and 9, and the grand final will take place on May 11. All shows will be livestreamed exclusively in the U.S. starting at 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET all three days on Peacock.

Eurovision 2024 airs in the U.K. on BBC, and those in the U.S. can also watch the music competition through cable or a live TV streaming subscription that carries the network, including DirecTV, Fubo, Hulu with Live TV and Sling.

Eurovision 2024: Semifinals and Grand Final Dates and Times, Finalists

Held at Malmö Arena in Sweden, this year’s lineup includes 37 countries. The first semifinal (May 7) will feature performers from Cyprus, Serbia, Lithuania, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Iceland, Germany, Slovenia, Finland, Moldova, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Australia, Portugal and Luxembourg. The opening act will be a performance the opening number, “United by Music,” by previous winners Eleni Foureira, Eric Saade and Chanel, and the interval acts will feature Sweden’s Benjamin Ingrosso and Ireland’s Johnny Logan.

The second semifinal (May 9) includes performers from Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, Czechia, France, Austria, Denmark, Denmark, Armenia, Latvia, Spain, San Marino, Georgia, Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Israel, Norway and the Netherlands. The day’s opening and interval acts will be Eurovision all-stars Helena Paparizou, Sertab Erener and Charlotte Perrelli, and co-host Petra Mede will perform a musical number.

The grand final (May 11) will feature the 20 qualifying semi-finalists, who’ll be joined by 2023 winner Loreen.

BBC will also air Eurovision on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
