After a day off on Sunday, the American League Division Series is set to resume today with an afternoon game between the Cleveland Guardians and the Detroit Tigers. The Guardians took the lead in the series after their impressive 7-0 win on Saturday in which Lane Thomas hit a three-run home run and the Guardians pitchers only allowed the Tigers four hits throughout the game. After the best-of-five ALDS, the two winning teams from the league will head to the American League Championship Series which is scheduled to begin on Oct. 13.
