Joey King is in talks to reunite on the big screen with Nicole Kidman!

The 25-year-old actress is in negotiations to star opposite Nicole and Sandra Bullock in the upcoming movie Practical Magic 2.

Joey previously worked with Nicole on the Netflix rom-com A Family Affair, which was released back in 2024.

The first Practical Magic movie in 1998 starred Sandra and Nicole as witch sisters Sally and Gillian Owens who “fight a family curse that dispatches the men with whom they fall in love,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

While the outlet reports that Joey will play one of Nicole‘s daughters in the sequel, only Sandra‘s character had daughters in the first film, so it’s likely that she will play one of those roles!

The daughter reportedly “discovers the dark family secrets and her own dark powers, plunging the family into a crisis.”

Practical Magic 2 is set to begin production in late summer 2025 in London. A new teaser recently revealed the film’s release date!
