Kehlani Accuses Her Ex of Abuse, is Granted Temporary Restraining Order Amid Custody Dispute | Javaughn Young-White, Kehlani | Just Jared: Celebrity News and Gossip

Kehlani accused her ex, Javaughn Young-White, of abuse and was granted a temporary restraining order against him as they fight over custody of their daughter.

If you were unaware, Javaughn is seeking full custody of Adeya Nomi, 5. In legal documents, he accused his ex of being a member of a cult.

This month, Kehlani went to court to seek a restraining order against Javaughn as they seek a resolution. Her order was temporarily granted and details have been revealed.

According to court documents filed on August 9 and obtained by People, Javaughn is unable to be within 100 yards of Kehlani or their daughter. He is also not allowed to reach out in any way, cannot take her out of California and cannot “possess or purchase firearms and ammunition.”

Kehlani currently has full custody of Adeya.

A judge granted the order since “there is a risk that [Young-White] might take the children without permission.” They cited past “abuse” and incidences of “not cooperating” with his ex.

Kehlani accused Javaughn of abuse in additional documents filed on August 8.

In those documents, she said that he caused “emotional harm, disturbing my peace, causing me to fear for my safety and our daughter’s safety.”

A hearing for the restraining order is scheduled for September 3. We’ll update you as we learn more.
