Kerry Washington is sharing some insight into filming Knives Out 3!

Back in , it was announced that the 47-year-old Scandal actress had joined the cast of third installment of the murder mystery franchise from Rian Johnson, officially titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

In a new interview, Kerry shared how “exciting” it is for her to get to star in the new movie.

“I’m just so really honored that [Rian Johnson] came to me for this role,” Kerry added. “And I’m thrilled that I’m going to get to work with some old friends like Glenn Close, who I’ve known forever … and also Josh Brolin is an old friend, and some new friends, like Josh O’Connor.”

The cast for Knives Out 3 also includes Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, and Andrew Scott.
