The first look at Amanda Seyfried‘s upcoming Peacock series, Long Bright River, has been revealed!

The 39-year-old actress stars in and executive produces the new suspense thriller, which is based on the novel of the same name by Liz Moore.

Liz also serves as a writer and executive producer on the project.

The release date and first look photos come a year after it was announced Amanda signed on for the series.

Long Bright River “tells the story of Mickey (Seyfried), a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis. When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case.”

Also starring in the series are Nicholas Pinnock, Ashleigh Cummings, Callum Vinson and John Doman.

The limited drama series will consist of eight, 60-minute episodes, and they will all premiere on March 13th on Peacock!
