Alex Brown is opening up about the latest season of Love Is Blind!

The commercial real estate broker was one of the season eight contestants on the reality dating show, and in the first half of the season, became boyfriend/girlfriend with Madison Errichiello.

However, as their time in the pods was coming to an end, the couple did not get engaged, meaning they don’t get to continue through the experiment.

In a new interview, Alex dished on why they didn’t get engaged, even though it seemed like they were going to.

“We were just on different pages,” he told E! News. “We realized that a couple times throughout the pod dates, that we just have different styles of communication and we just realized that we were not super compatible. We just decided to go our separate ways.”

He also opened up about the difficulty of dating multiple people in the pods.

“It’s just overall really challenging when you’re in the situation to navigate all the different people and the dates,” Alex said. “I know it’s easy to judge when you’re watching it on Netflix, but it’s really difficult. You have all these people that you really connect with, and then you have to narrow it down to one, and you have to be careful about what you say, and there’s so many things to consider.”

The next three episodes of Love Is Blind season eight are set to premiere THIS Friday (February 21), with two more on February 28th and the finale on March 7th.
