My Joanna Gaines Area Rug Is Soft, Chic, and on Sale

I’m currently in the midst of a total apartment makeover. My tiny NYC pad is fairly dull and dated (besides a few charming pre-war design touches I adore), so I’m striving to elevate each room with curated swaps. The Jones Oatmeal Area Rug initially caught my eye for its neutral tone and unique design. I like to decorate with eclectic colors and bold pieces, so I was looking for a rug to ground the space and infuse a soothing feel. This rug’s palette of soft beige, cream, and brown tones was perfect for upping the calm, cozy vibe in my living room, especially combined with its incredibly plush hand-tufted wool that’s soft enough to sit on. Its low-pile base also veins between the thick tufted paneling, resulting in organic lines and intriguing texture that gives it such a luxe look. 

I was wary that the rug would require a long time to settle flat after unrolling it, but it only took a few hours for the curled ends to rest. Plus, I placed it without a rug pad and have yet to experience any budging or slipping.
