My Mom’s Secret to Keeping Her Home Smelling Fresh Is Just $6

As recently as last week, I’ve gotten compliments on the inviting aroma of my apartment, and if I’m being honest, it’s all thanks to my mom. Practically everything I know about running my home is because of her.

Two summers ago, before I moved in, my mom received a gift from someone that quickly became one of her (and soon, my own) favorite home hacks of all time—a Wallflower plug from Bath & Body Works. When my mom first installed the Wallflower in our home foyer, it immediately warranted compliments from guests who often asked, “What is that smell? It’s amazing.” Based on the number of times she let people in on her home fragrance secret, it’s likely that she sold a handful of them from her own word of mouth. My mom loved the warm, inviting aroma so much that she purchased more Wallflowers for other areas of her house, and I loved them equally that I purchased three for my studio apartment. 

One of my favorite plug options is the scent control model, which features buttons on the side to adjust between three intensities based on how much fragrance I want to be released.
