Bowers & Wilkins has long been a favorite of audiophiles for its excellent bookshelf speakers, headphones, and earbuds that blend style with substance. They also typically have a luxurious price to boot, but right now, there’s a deal on Bowers & Wilkins’ headphones that makes them more affordable than similar headphones from Sony and Bose.
The Px7 S2e headphones, which regularly retail for $400, are $250 right now, a savings of $150. We’ve only spotted the deal on Amazon on the black and cloud grey colorways, so it’s unclear how long this offer will last. In short, it’s a good idea to act fast.
Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2e Over-Ear Headphones
The Px7 S2e are Bowers & Wilkins’ entry-level headphones. They have a slightly less high-end build compared to the flagship Px8s, but they share a remarkably similar spec sheet under the hood, with both models offering six microphones for calls and ANC, as well as support for Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec for high-res audio.
Like the flagship Px8s, the Px7 S2e headphones have a 30-hour battery life, putting them on par with Sony’s WH-1000XM6 headphones and ahead of Bose’s QuietComfort line of headphones. The Px7 S2e headphones feature physical buttons for easy volume and playback control. They can also be used with a wired connection, and a USB-C to 3.5mm stereo jack audio cable is included with the headphones. They also boast solid active noise-canceling, including a pass-through transparency mode for situational awareness.
The discount comes as Bowers & Wilkins unveils its latest entry-level over-ear headphones, the Px7 S3. They were released in late April and retail for $449, and feature eight microphones, refined sound, and a sleeker, slightly more lightweight build.
