Orlando Bloom is addressing Keira Knightley‘s recent comments about their Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

If you forgot, the two actors played love interests Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan in the Disney movie franchise back in the 2000s.

In an interview from November 2024, Keira, 39, admitted that she had conflicting feelings about the movies and said that she would never star in another franchise again.

While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Orlando, 48, said that despite his own positive experience working on the Pirates movies, he understands Keira‘s feelings.

“But it certainly was unique and, you know, I’m always grateful. But I definitely understand where Keira was coming from, and she does wonderful things,” he continued. “I have a lot of positive takeaways.”
