The Los Angeles Dodgers are assisting immigrant families after denying ICE agents entry into the stadium lot.

On Friday (June 20), the team shared a statement on X promising a commitment of $1 million to support immigrant families.

The team announced they will be working directly with the city of Los Angeles to distribute the financial assistance to the families impacted by recent raids by Department of Homeland Security (ICE).

In addition to the post on X, Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten shared a statement of his own.

Stan‘s statement reads: “What’s happening in Los Angeles has reverberated among thousands upon thousands of people, and we have heard the calls for us to take a leading role on behalf of those affected. We believe that by committing resources and taking action, we will continue to support and uplift the communities of Greater Los Angeles.”

Singer Nezza recently shared a statement about her decision to sing in Spanish at Dodgers Stadium.
