Ram Charan Production ‘The India House’ Hit by Water Tank Burst

A large water tank burst on the set of “RRR” star Ram Charan‘s production venture “The India House” on earlier this week, causing sudden flooding and equipment damage during filming near Shamshabad, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, India.
The incident occurred while the team was shooting an elaborate ocean sequence at a specially constructed set, when a water tank designed to simulate tidal waves unexpectedly gave way, sending water rushing across the location with force.
Videos from the location, now viral on social media, show crew members struggling to wade through rapidly rising water while attempting to protect filming equipment. The footage reveals production members scrambling to evacuate and control the flooding situation.
Lead actor Nikhil Siddhartha took to X to address the incident and confirm the safety of all cast and crew members. “We r all Safe. Sometimes in our Quest to give the Best cinematic Experience we take Risks. Today we survived a Huge mishap thanks to the Alert Crew and Precautions taken. We lost Expensive Equipment but by gods grace there was no human damage. #IndiaHouse,” Siddhartha wrote, sharing video footage from the flooded set.
Producer Abhishek Agarwal, who is producing via Abhishek Agarwal Arts alongside Ram Charan and Vikram Reddy’s V Mega Pictures, also posted on X, stating: “A mishap occurred on the sets of #TheIndiaHouse while shooting today. Everyone on the set is safe and sound. Thank you for all your concern. #JaiMataDi.”
“The India House,” directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, is a period drama starring Nikhil Siddhartha, Saiee Manjrekar, and veteran actor Anupam Kher.
