Rangers Trade Ryan Lindgren And Jimmy Vesey In Package Deal To The Avalanche

The New York Rangers have traded Ryan Lindgren and Jimmy Vesey to the Colorado Avalanche.
According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, the Rangers are receiving center Juuso Parssinen, defenseman Calvin de Haan, a 2025 second-round pick and a 2025 fourth-round pick.
Colorado is sending the better second-round pick between the Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes and the better fourth-round pick between the Avalanche and Vancouver Canucks.
The Rangers will to retain 50 percent of Lindgren’s salary. The Avalanche also acquire the rights of Hank Kempf.
Parssinen is a 24-year-old center who spent about two and a half years with the Nashville Predators before being traded to the Colorado Avalanche in December.
The Finnish forward has recorded four goals, seven assists and 11 points in 37 games this season while averaging 10:46 minutes.
Haan is a 33-year-old defenseman who has played for the New York Islanders, Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, Tampa Bay Lightning and Avalanche.
He’s tallied seven points for the Avalanche through the 2024-25 campaign while averaging 14:55 minutes.
