Rose Byrne is leaving the Berlin Film Festival a winner!
The 45-year-old actress received the Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance during the festival’s awards ceremony on Saturday (February 22) in Berlin, Germany.
Rose won the award for her work in the new movie If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, which had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival last month. A24 will release the movie in theaters this year.
Here is the film’s synopsis: “With her life literally crashing down around her, Linda attempts to navigate her child’s mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her therapist.”
Andrew Scott won the Best Supporting Performance prize for his performance in Blue Moon.
