Ruggable’s New Collection With Goop Is the Collab We Didn’t Know We Needed

While it’s hard to say decor can make your life easier, Ruggable might be the one exception to this rule. With rugs that can easily be spot-cleaned or cleaned in the washing machine at home (because who wants to spend money or time getting a rug professionally cleaned?), they offer pieces that are equally convenient and stylish.

The brand has also collaborated with big names like The Hiltons, Justina Blakeney, and Jonathan Adler just to name a few, so it’s not a surprise Ruggable is now collaborating with Gwyneth Paltrow’s brand Goop. And the actress and entrepreneur couldn’t be more enthusiastic about the partnership.

“A well-loved home is a backdrop for our most special memories: playing with our children on the floor, a boisterous dinner party with old friends, a rare quiet moment curled up with a book. For Ruggable x goop we leaned into those precious moments, blurring form and function to create an elevated collection of organic neutrals with motifs and textures lifted from our travels,” Paltrow said in a press release. “Our hope is that these luxurious, washable rugs live in your mind as part of your most special memories for years to come.”

The collection consists of eight styles in three different textures—flatwoven, tufted, and re-jute. Starting at $119, these rugs are available in a variety of sizes and shapes from classic rectangles to circles and runners. Here’s a look at the collection along with some styling tips.

Salerno Soft Black Re-Jute Rug

One of the most notable offerings in the collection is the Salerno Soft Black Re-Jute Rug. It features an oversized checkered diamond design and a unique border. It works well in a dining or living room to add texture and warmth to a contemporary space.

This rug, like the rest of Ruggable’s re-jute offerings, has the look of jute, but with a softer feeling underfoot. It’s also a more durable option than traditional jute because the material is resistant to stains, shedding, and fraying. Best of all, it’s engineered for both indoor and outdoor use—making it a good choice for a patio or even an outdoor dining space.

Lucia Natural Rug

Cassandra Leisz, Senior Creative Director of Ruggable, says one of her favorites from the collection is the Luica Natural Rug. “The piece offers a delicate design in a beige hue that can warm up any space. The soft motifs are a perfect neutral ground for a wide variety of rooms.”

The soft color palette makes it a fantastic choice for a smaller living room because the color makes it look larger.

Available in Stripe Indigo and Stripe Latte Cream, these are the most luxe rugs in the Goop collaboration. Inspired by Indian dhurrie designs, this style has imperfect lines and a stair-stepped motif edge. With contrasting colors, both designs would look great in a dining space or home office. The indigo adds a pop of color without being too bold, while the latte colored option is a nice neutral.

Shaila Stone

The Shalia Stone rug is a great choice for anyone who describes their style as “understated.” A new reinterpretation of an Indian dhurrie rug, it has geometric shapes, linework, and a calming color palette inspired by nature. Still, its cool and modern aesthetic adds a big dose of style to any room.

Luna Soft Teal

Colorful yet simple—the Luna Soft Teal rug is the most vibrant piece in the collection. Leisz suggests using this statement rug in an entryway (it feels so welcoming) or even a bathroom. It’s also great for layering over plain white tile.

Remi Camel Brown

Ruggable

Modern, minimal, and inspired by natural Tuareg rugs, the earth-toned palette adds stripes, textures, and style to minimalist and contemporary spaces. It’s simple, yet stands out.

Dilara Sage Green

Ruggable

According to Leisz, the Dilara Sage Green rug is an ideal statement piece for an entryway or bathroom. Also inspired by traditional Tuareg rugs, this piece has warm, neutral hints of brown and cream against a sage background.
