Walmart Restocks Zelda And Street Fighter Amiibo For Nintendo Switch 2 Launch

Nintendo’s new Legend of Zelda and Street Fighter 6 Amiibo figures are available now alongside the launch of the Switch 2. Walmart has restocked all seven of the new Amiibo figures, including the hard-to-find Tears of the Kingdom Yunobo figure. It’s worth noting that Walmart’s Nintendo Switch 2 Amiibo section doesn’t always show all of the new figures. Earlier tonight, the Zelda Amiibo were located on the second page of the Switch 2 games landing page.

The seven new figures are launching alongside Switch 2 versions of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Breath of the Wild, and Street Fighter 6: Years 1-2 Fighters Edition.

All seven Amiibo figures received $10 price increases after Nintendo reevaluated the pricing for its first-party accessories as a result of US tariffs. Tears of the Kingdom’s Champions Amiibo cost $30 each. A fifth new Zelda Amiibo based on Mineru’s Construct is expected to launch later this year, but a price hasn’t been announced yet. Zelda Amiibo figures often sold for $16-$20 before this latest batch of figures dropped.

Street Fighter 6’s Amiibo figures, meanwhile, go for a staggering $40 each. This eyebrow-raising move means each figure is only $20 less than the game–and the game includes a bunch of free DLC. For another comparison: The previously released Ken and Ryu Smash Bros. Amiibo carry $16 retail prices. Neither figure is currently in print, but you can buy Ken and Ryu Amiibo for $25-$30 each from resellers.

The Nintendo Switch 2 editions of Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, and Street Fighter 6 are available in physical and digital formats. If you’re new to this pair of Zelda games, you can save money by purchasing physical copies for Nintendo Switch and the $10 upgrade pack.

Nintendo Switch 2 Editions:

  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild — $70 | June 5
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — $80 | June 5
  • Street Fighter 6: Years 1-2 Fighters Edition — $60 | June 5
