After selling out on multiple occasions since its October 2024 launch, Rhode’s Barrier Butter is finally back in stock.
TikTok users witnessed a collective panic in January, February and the first few days of March when the intensive moisture balm couldn’t seem to say in stock. After its January restock and near-instant sellout, one user made a video showing herself stockpiling the product with the caption, “POV: Rhode Barrier Butter is the only thing that soothes my dry skin all day but it’s literally never in stock and it finally came back in stock.”

Rhode Barrier Butter The Intensive Moisture Balm
The late-2024 addition to Rhode’s cult-favorite line of skin care works overnight to deliver ultra-hydrated skin by morning. The product’s accompanying campaign imagery starred supermodel Claudia Schiffer looking like the ultimate cool girl in blacked out shades and a leather jacket. She posed with the intensive moisture balm, which was the first Rhode product available in two sizes: one for “on-the-shelf” ($38) one for “on-the-go” ($22, but still out of stock at time of publish).
