Snag Stephen King’s New Novel For Over 50% Off At Amazon For Prime Day

Stephen King’s newest novel is on sale for over 50% off for Prime Day. Amazon has added a bonus coupon discount to the hardcover edition of Never Flinch that drops the price to only $14.92 (was $32). Never Flinch, which hit store shelves on May 27, continues the genre-shifting author’s stay in the world of dark crime fiction. King’s other recent crime novels are also on sale for Prime Day, including hardcovers with coupon discounts and a ton of paperbacks in Amazon’s Buy Two, Get One Free Book Sale.

If you’re more of a fan of King’s classic horror novels, you have plenty to choose from, too. There are some seriously great offers, particularly on hardcovers like this beautiful edition of The Shining for only $16.66 (was $45). Fans of Pennywise the Dancing Clown can get the hardcover edition of It for only $12.90 (was $35) thanks to an additional coupon discount. At 1,168 pages, It is one of the two longest King novels. The other one is The Stand: The Complete and Uncut Edition, which is 1,152 pages in hardcover but has a higher word count.

Here’s a quick look at some of our favorite Prime Day deals on hardcover editions of Stephen King novels.

Take a closer look at the new novel and the King books you may want to read before diving in below. All six of the King books related to Never Flinch are in the B2G1 promotion in either paperback or hardcover. After reading about Never Flinch and the other books featuring one of its protagonists, you can check more B2G1 free King books or editions with abnormally low prices thanks to coupon deals. King has multiple exciting books on the horizon, and you can read about those below the deals. Note: Amazon says the coupon deals expire July 17 and may not be available for all customers. The B2G1 sale is expected to run through tomorrow, July 12.

In addition to the crime novels starring Holly Gibney and Bill Hodges listed above, Amazon has many other King novels and collections in its B2G1 sale. This includes hardcover editions of several of King’s older titles, a few of which have dust jackets and cover art matching the hardcover edition of The Shining. ‘Salem’s Lot, one of the best 20th century vampire novels, is one of the novels with this style. You can also get a matching edition of Carrie, which was published in 1974 as King’s debut novel. Hardcover editions of The Stand and Night Shift (a collection) also have this theme; while they aren’t featured in Amazon’s B2G1 promotion, each one is steeply discounted to prices rarely seen for these editions.

Several of King’s recent novels beyond the Holly Gibney books are either B2G1 free or on sale for bargain prices with additional coupon discounts. The 2022 novel Fairy Tale is essentially King’s take on Narnia, and the hardcover edition is only $12. Fairy Tale was quite the departure from his 2021 novel Billy Summers, a fast-paced crime novel without any fantastical or supernatural elements. Billy Summers is arguably his best work within the genre, and it’s eligible for B2G1 free. You’ll also find King’s 2024 collection of short stories, You Like it Darker, for just $11 with a coupon deal.

Other classics in the sale include Cujo, The Dead Zone, Carrie, The Green Mile, and the first book in The Dark Tower series. You’ll also find a bunch of newer King novels in the promotion. And while they aren’t eligible for B2G1 free, paperback editions of ‘Salem’s Lot and Carrie have official Prime Day discounts.

Check out the list of King paperbacks in the B2G1 sale below. We’ve noted whether the book is a trade paperback (PB) or mass market paperback (MMPB):

Stephen King Box Set Deals:

There are surprisingly few Stephen King book box sets, but you can save big on The Dark Tower Complete Series, which includes all eight novels packaged in a display case.

Stephen King: The Dark Tower Graphic Novel Omnibus Deals

All three omnibus editions of the graphic novel adaptation of The Dark Tower are included in Amazon’s B2G1 promotion. With the existing discounts on each volume and the additional $55 you’ll save if you buy all three, you’re getting $300 worth of comics for roughly $115.

Upcoming Stephen King Books

Another all-new book that should be on the radar of longtime King readers is The End of the World As We Know It: New Tales of Stephen King’s The Stand. Releasing August 19, this anthology features stories by dozens of contemporary authors set in the same world as King’s longest and arguably best novel. King wrote the introduction for this 800-page doorstopper. If you want to refresh your memory ahead of its release, Amazon has the excellent hardcover edition of The Stand for over $30 off right now.

King fans will also soon be able to add a new box set featuring three of his older horror novels to their display shelves. Titled Classic King Box Set 1, the upcoming paperback collection contains the latest editions of Christine, Cujo, and Pet Sematary with vintage artwork on the covers and slipcase. All three of those editions are included in Amazon’s B2G1 free sale. Though it’s the only confirmed set so far, it would appear that Scribner is planning on releasing multiple Classic King Box Sets. The design of the Classic King Box Set is far cooler than the 2019 collection titled Stephen King: Three Classic Novels. That said, the latter contains Carrie, ‘Salem’s Lot, and The Shining and is available for only $26 (was $57) at Amazon. Classic King Box Set is up for preorder for $46.39 (was $58) ahead of its July 29 release.

King’s second children’s book, a reimagining of Hansel and Gretel, will be published by HarperCollins on September 2. It’s geared toward early elementary schoolers and is illustrated by Maurice Sendak. King’s only other children’s book is Charlie the Choo-Choo, a picture book for toddlers written under the pen name Beryl Evans. The book and its author originally appeared in King’s dark fantasy series The Dark Tower. If you haven’t read King’s longest series, Amazon has The Dark Tower 8-Book Box Set for $68.90 (was $161).
