Sofia Mattsson is remembering her General Hospital husband Johnny Wactor after his tragic death.

Johnny tragically died at the age of 37 last month. He has been hailed as a hero after protecting a coworker in the midst of an attempted armed robbery.

While attending the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards this weekend, Sofia paid tribute to her onscreen husband and close friend.

“We shared so many great memories, so many tears and laughter on and off screen,” she told People about Johnny.

She continued, praising her partner as being “so helpful.”

“He just helps supporting everyone. He knows everyone’s name. He’s just friendly with everyone. He is super, super goofy. And just always made you laugh, and made you feel so comfortable and at home,” Sofia said.
