Carnage inflicted on New York Community Bancorp did not drag down the broader regional bank group. Our top weekly gainer was Oregon-based Columbia Banking System (+9.2%). Our other reginal banks, Northwest Bancshares (+2.6%) and Albany, N.Y.-based TrustCo Bank Corp NY (+1.8%) also produced weekly gains.
