Sophie Turner is offering a first glimpse at her upcoming ITVX TV series Joan.

On Tuesday (June 25), the Game of Thrones actress took to social media to share a teaser trailer of herself in character as an infamous jewel thief named Joan Hannington.

The clip highlights the many faces that Joan embodies, presenting her as a “Mother, Lover, Liar and Thief.”

The official description of the project describes it as a “exhilarating yet emotional story set against the vibrant backdrop of the 1980s.” It picks up after Joan creates a new life for herself after her husband runs out on her and her daughter.

“She embarks on a thrilling, high-stakes journey that challenges her every limit, driven by her desire to care for her daughter and create a secure home for them both,” the synopsis reads.

Joan will premiere in September. We first learned that Sophie had joined the project in May 2023.

This is Sophie‘s first big project since she separated from Joe Jonas last year. The Jonas Brothers singer is also teasing his first new music, which seems to deal with their divorce.

Sophie opened up about the divorce in a tell-all interview this spring.
