Grimes has pulled out of an upcoming Pride performance.

The 37-year-old “Genesis” singer took to Twitter/X to share the news with fans over the holiday weekend.

While she didn’t specify which event she was canceling, Grimes was on the lineup of performers for WorldPride in Washington, DC, which takes place June 6-7.

“Hello friends, I am so so sorry and regretful to say I have to cancel my pride show in order to deal with family issues,” Grimes wrote on Twitter/X.

“I want to say that I am aware the situation has been a great inconvenience to the fans for some time, and I am truly determined to make sure this is no longer the case very soon,” she continued. “I think the show is still going to be amazing and the lineup is great. I hope this is early enough and gives people enough time if they wish to change their plans. And I *will* make this up to you guys very soon. So much love always 💕 G”

One fan replied to the post asking if there was an update on her next album, and she replied, “Yes, that’s why I’ve been offline 🙏🏻”

Recently, Grimes revealed she was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, and has previously been vocal about her concerns of ex Elon Musk putting their four-year-old son in the spotlight.
