Starbucks Is Now Available on Grubhub

Starbucks and Grubhub are making it easier than ever to get your caffeine fix.

On Thursday, the two companies announced their brand-new partnership, finally bringing Grubhub delivery to Starbucks customers. And it’s about time. According to the two companies, until now, Starbucks has been the most searched merchant not available on Grubhub’s Marketplace. The delivery option will be available nationally by August and will be rolled out to select markets in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Illinois starting this month.

“Customer demand to get Starbucks delivered continues to increase, as evidenced by double-digit growth in the U.S. delivery business this past quarter, indicating that our customers continue to want convenience in their everyday lives,” Meg Mathes, vice president of digital experiences at Starbucks, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “Our new partnership with Grubhub will help fuel this growth by increasing the availability of Starbucks products to Grubhub’s tens of millions of customers.”

Delivery is super simple. All you need to do is open your Grubhub app or go to Grubhub.com, select your nearest Starbucks, and pop in your order. You can then track your coffee from preparation to drop-off. You also don’t need to worry about spillage, as Starbucks says it “developed multiple packaging solutions,” including two-cup to-go trays and improved bags, allowing delivery drivers to get your goods to you mess-free.

“By joining forces with a beloved national brand like Starbucks, we’re offering customers more of what they want on Grubhub while strengthening our enterprise offering and growing our merchant supply in markets nationwide,” Liz Bosone, VP of enterprise partnerships at Grubhub, added. ”We’re proud to offer national and independent restaurants on our platform — a complementary duo — to give customers more choices and build loyalty.”

Customers can also order more than coffee. According to Starbucks, “most” of its menu will be available, including seasonal and limited-edition foods. And customers can customize their orders — including how many pumps, sugars, shots, and all that jazz — in the app as well.

And those with Grubhub+, the delivery app’s monthly membership program, will get the added bonus of $0 delivery fees on eligible Starbucks orders, along with lower service fees and exclusive offers dropping throughout the summer. (Though standard delivery and service fees apply.) But, no word yet on if this means they’ll spell your name right.
