Super7 Comic-Con TMNT Figures Are Serving Up Some San Diego Slices
In two weeks, the worlds of fandom will converge once again to San Diego for Comic-Con. GameSpot has your first look at what Super7 is serving up for exclusives that feature those heroes in a half-shell, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Super7 is offering goodies for collectors of both the RetroAction series and its larger Ultimates line. Let’s take a look at the Mikey’s Pizza set in the RetroAction that includes Undercover Michelangelo, Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady.
Much like other RetroAction figures, they’re at the 3.75-inch scale and modeled after their animated series counterpart. Each card backing is pizza-shaped with some pretty weird toppings across the set. They all include their respective weapons, with Bebop and Rocksteady having two each.
Next up is Pizza Chef Mikey in the 7-inch Ultimates scale. He comes with two interchangeable heads, one more stoic, the other more in-character as he looks like he’s ready to chow down. There’s also a soft goods apron and chef’s hat to dress him up in. Mikey also has four different pizza slices, multiple hands, and his very own pizza box.
Buggy baddie Scumbug will have a second release under the Ultimates banner with a brand-new glow-in-the-dark casting. The figure comes with two heads, eight hands, large can of bug spray, and six cockroaches–you gotta love that. The box also comes with a unique colorway to differentiate from a regular UItimates release.
When Super7 released the Pizza Party Wagon a while back, there was some contention about pricepoint, so we’ll probably hear that again as the company is releasing the van with brand-new decor. The paint job is more in line with a pizza delivery vehicle. Measuring just over 20 inches long and over 13 inches tall, the Pizza Party Wagon is ready to deliver. In scale with your Ultimate TMNT figures, this bad boy can fit up to six figures so you can have a pizza party on the go. Check out those pizza rims! Truly a worthy ride!
Last but not least, brand-new TMNT shirts. If you can’t fit any toys in your luggage, you can still walk away with these designs, one sporting the Mikey’s Pizza logo and the other with the Shredder with his own pizza place.
