Serbian forward Bogoljub Marković to miss draft combine

Serbian forward Bogoljub Marković will miss the 2025 NBA draft combine on May 11-18 in Chicago, Illinois, his agent, Miško Ražnatović, announced on X.

Marković is averaging 13.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists on 38.8% shooting from 3-point range in 32 games with Mega Basket in Serbia. He has registered five 20-point games, including a season-high 27 points, five rebounds and four assists on March 9.

The 6-foot-11 forward was among the prospects invited to the annual scouting event at the Wintrust Arena. However, with Mega Basket on track to make the ABA League playoffs, he will not arrive in the United States in time to participate in the festivities.

Marković is projected to be a second-round pick this year, given his offensive versatility, ability to handle the ball and work inside the paint. He also showcased his vision by making several timely passes on the break or in pick-and-roll situations.

The 19-year-old dazzled at the Nike Hoop Summit with Team World last month, recording 16 points and 10 rebounds in an overtime loss against the United States. He emerged as one of the top players, displaying each area of his game on both sides of the ball.

Marković has represented Serbia several other times, including the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship. He led his team to the gold medal, averaging 14.1 points, seven rebounds, 1.7 assists, one steal and one block on 44.8% shooting from the field.

The 2025 NBA draft will occur June 25-26 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
